You Must Stand for Something

Or you will fall for anything

I am sorry, but this blog post is going to pick on the left. While the right can be inconsistent, they do follow the moral code of Christian teaching, at least in a general sense. As such, although there are hypocrisies, there is less true conflicting reasoning justifying the right’s stance. On the other hand, the left tends to go with a stance that tries to support all non Christian beliefs at the same time. Often, one belief comes in direct conflict with another belief, but they still cling tight to the argument that all these ideas are good. Basically, they try to accept everything except the Christian moral teachings, and in doing so, they really stand for nothing in particular. Their followers fall for anything and everything they push, even when it is contradictory.

Let’s take the woman’s movement for starters. The basic premise behind the woman’s movement is that women are equal and the same as men. We know that women are complimentary to men, rather than the same. But that is not their stance. So the leftists accept that stance.

Then the left accepts the stance of the Trans community, that a person has a genuine need, determinable early in life, to spend tons of money and probably harm their own health trying to imitate a different gender than they were born, a premise that implies that the two genders are not the same.

The left then pushes for abortion as part of women’s bodily autonomy, and also pushes taking away our bodily autonomy by mandating an under proven vaccine. They claim to fight racism, by using strongly racist wording. They claim that one death from COVID is too many, while creating lockdown policies that will result in more deaths, except of course abortion centers are not locked down, so those deaths can continue. They claim to support the green movement, while also mandating masks, gloves and other disposable items that are the opposite of green. They claim to support affordable health care while propping up the pharmaceutical companies that are an important factor in driving healthcare costs up.

Basically, the left tries to appear to support all aspects of the sexual revolution, the women’s movement, the COVID lockdown response, the green movement, Black lives matter, affordable healthcare, welfare, illegal immigration, and the list goes on. Whatever movement that will gain momentum and support from voters for the democratic party, they support. Never mind that the issues collide. Voters are not smart enough to realize that the collisions are happening. Nor do they really care, because the real point of the democratic party is to make their financial backers richer, they just promote these causes so they can get the votes to have the power to do what they really want.

Of course the right also just supports causes so that they can get the votes so their financial backers can do what they really want. This is the real issue that we need to acknowledge. Neither of the parties really want to give us what we truly want or even need. They just feed into the division to get us to vote for them and give them power. The parties are not interested in us other than for our votes. They really are not interested in the things they promise us or the arguments they use to get us divided. They are interested in power and supporting the businesses that support them. Let me emphasize that one more time. The Democratic and Republican parties are only using us to get the power to support their big financial backers. Can we stop falling for all the lines they throw at us and start demanding accountability from our political candidates. Can we stop giving in to them and maybe look to try to find true issues to support and vote for people who are actually interested in making our lives better.
